High Risk OB – Including CHTN, DM, Multiples, IVF
A high-risk pregnancy is a pregnancy in which you or your baby are at an increased risk of a complication. Our doctors are trained to identify and provide care for high-risk obstetrical patients with a number of conditions such as high blood pressure (hypertension), diabetes, multiple gestations and advanced maternal age. We also assist with infertility treatment.

Natural Childbirth Options
Our physicians offer multiple birth options from natural childbirth to epidurals. We are here to support your preferences. Safety of both mother and baby is of utmost importance, and we are here to help guide the birth process. Our physicians are happy to review birth plans with you and to support our patients.

VBACS
A VBAC means that you can have your baby vaginally after at least one cesarean section. Vaginal delivery after a previous cesarean section requires special focus and attention. Our providers perform vaginal birth after cesarean sections (VBAC) on an individualized basis and we are happy to discuss this option for your delivery.

Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock is equipped to handle all of your perinatal needs. From high-risk obstetric services to an in-house NICU, Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock has it all. Our state-of-the-art birthing suites promote family bonding, and you can deliver and recover in the same room as admission.

Cerclage Placement
Cervical cerclage is the placement of sutures in the cervix to keep it from opening. Premature opening of the cervix can result in preterm labor and delivery.

3D and Gender Ultrasounds
In addition to your regular 20-week ultrasound, we offer optional 3D ultrasounds at 27-32 weeks gestation for $175 ($50 deposit required at booking) that include pictures on a flash drive. We also offer gender checks at 16 weeks for $50 for those patients who just can’t wait to discover the sex of their baby.
